The Musée des Acadiens des Pubnicos is pleased to invite you to a private launch of two bilingual digital exhibitions demonstrating the use of Community Archives to tell stories. These exhibitions (J’va’t manquer / The Life and Travels of Catherine Marie Pothier) will be released online to the public on August 14 during the Congrès mondial acadien 2024.
These exhibitions encompass many archival assets, including census documents, birth and marriage registries, personal letters, diaries and scrapbooks, artifacts, photographs, oral histories, and more. To complement the J’va’t manquer exhibition, a poem by Debra Amirault Camelin was turned into a song by Wendell d’Eon, and will be sung by him.
