Biographical sketch:

 

Françes Marie Belliveau was born on November 25, 1919 in Middle East Pubnico.  She was the daughter of Louis-Francois Belliveau and Clémentine (Amirault).  On November 4, 1944 Françes married Paul Francois Amirault in Middle East Pubnico.  They had four children: Paul, Blanche, Evelyn and Simone.  Françes` husband Paul died on January 12, 1973.

Custodial history:

 

Records were collected by Françes Marie Amirault. Her two daughters, Evelyn Shand and Blanche Banks, donated the collection to the Société Historique Acadienne de Pubnico-Ouest in 2009.

Fonds consist of 1 series:  A) Documents       

  1. deeds, wills, bonds, diaries, religious cards, mortgage papers, various letters, invoices, bills, settlements, photocopies of pictures and magazine articles, birth, marriages, and death records, genealogy, and some books.  The records are from 1804 to 1998.
